Arm and Hammer posted some experiments that can be done with simple household products. These are great ways to introduce children to basic scientific concepts like chemical reactions and simple physics formulas. On their TikTok account, @armandhammer, they show how to set up the tried-and-true baking soda and vinegar volcano. It’s so easy to get going! Great videos prompt personal reactions. This video does just that. TikTok user @chernandez 5697 says, “That is so cool when I was a kid taking a bath I use the put shampoo and water in empty bottles like it was a potion.”  It’s great to see companies like Arm and Hammer promoting STEM activities for students and helping families build memorable experiences. It’s not easy to get kids to do things that are good for them sometimes. Hopefully, these projects help engage students in STEM fields and create new areas of interest that can flourish over time.
