This tutorial will help you to install Notepad++ on your Fedora system using snap packages.

Step 1 – Install Snapd

Snapd is a package manager application popular among Linux users. A snap package is a self-contained package including the dependencies. Run the below command to install Snapd daemon on your Fedora system. Next, create a symbolic link to complete the installation on your system. Now, reboot your system to complete the installation. You can simply log out and log in back to apply changes.

Step 2 – Install Notepad++ on Fedora

Notepad++ runs over the WINE platform, which provides compatibility for the Windows application on Unix-like operating systems.
