The Nothing phone comes in white or black and does things that no other Android phone can do. Consumer tech TikTok extraordinaire PhoneBuff got a hold of a Nothing phone recently to show off its truly unique features.

The LED lights on the phone’s backside can be programmed with custom software on the phone’s version of Android to carry out many different functions. They can be customized to show different symbols depending on who is calling you. And, when wirelessly charging another device (like a wireless earbuds case), they will indicate the device’s charge level. Finally, the lights can be used to show notifications when the phone is face down, as a sort of visual silent mode. In terms of performance, the Nothing phone runs on a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and packs a Full HD (1080p) display. However, according to The Verge, the phone doesn’t have very long battery life, little more than a day’s worth of staying power. At least fast-charging support (up to 33W) can help make up for that shortcoming. With a 50-megapixel dual-camera system, we sure wish this version was coming to the US. Starting at £399 (about $475), the first Nothing phone is exclusive to the UK, most of Europe, and the EMEA regions. Here’s to hoping for the second Nothing phone making it to America, because Android is kind of boring over here these days.
